Joy of life Mobile Game Launch Campaignm

About

This project create an engaging and widespread promotional campaign for the 3D MMORPG mobile game "Joy of life ( 庆余年)," based on a popular novel and TV series in China, developed by Shengqu Games(盛趣游戏) and published by Tencent Games(腾讯游戏). The promotional campaign successfully publicized the game's official test launch on March 25, 2022, generating significant user interest and engagement across Tencent Video's platforms, both on mobile and desktop.

My Work

The project phases included initial concept development, design iterations based on client feedback, and finalizing the various advertising and promotional materials.

Designed and deployed a comprehensive set of 55 different Interface advertising design including homepage previews, splash screen ads, pop-up ads, standby screensaver ads, and promotional posters. 

All the design work finished by 4 days.

My Role

As the lead designer, responsible for the majority of the main content(40 out of 55), worked closely with project managers, illustrators, and web developers, maintaining constant communication.

Challenges & Key Learnings

The main challenge was the tight deadline of 4 days (from March 18 to March 21, 2022). Learned to efficiently manage time and resources under pressure, and developed skills in rapidly adapting to client feedback for optimal results.

Managed to balance the heavy workload with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the completion of a wide array of design tasks.
